K tips
– Be careful ! Following the takeover of the Grec Marine company which initially designed this range of sheaves, we have made several changes. If you want to replace a KDS sheave, we advise you to provide us with as much information as possible. Consult us.
– A Karver KDS80 sheave is a sheave capable of holding 8T (80 = 8T). For Grec Marine, a KDS80 sheave was a sheave equipped with an 80 mm diameter sheave.
– As far as possible, we recommend the use of a flat shaft (extension of code FP).
– Heavy duty sheaves, whatever their brand, must be perfectly aligned.
– Like any part of the fittings, the sheaves must be cleaned and maintained. For the design offices in charge of their positioning, remember to keep the possibility of disassembly.
