The KR40 is a low-friction aluminum ring with a maximum internal passage for a 7 mm rope.

Tips
– A low friction ring remains a ring with higher friction than a bearing block. For applications where there is a lot of rope to pick up, prefer a block to a ring.
– Friction rings are ideal for rope deviations up to 25°.
– Depending on the applications, open rings (KRO) or Titanium (KRTi) may be more suitable
