3: 1 friction sheave for KF4.5 furler. This accessory allows you to easily and remotely install your sail and furler on a bowsprit. For hooked sails, the 3: 1 allows a hoist to take up the luff tension.

Tips

– There are 3 3: 1 friction sheave references for each model :
o PF317 150 : to replace a KSnap with a 3: 1. To install directly during the preparation of the order, we then deduct the price of the KSnap.
o PF314 150 : to order a 3: 1 only
– For the most demanding racers we always offer the 3: 1 large in a half moon shape. It is more compact, more stable and more resistant. It can be made in titanium on request.
– If the 3: 1 is used in 2: 1, be sure to secure it with a small rope. Once detached from the furler, nothing prevents it from falling into the water.
– The KSnap which is fitted as standard on the Standard and Classic versions is a 2-in-1 snap shackle with a 2: 1 function. In many cases, this configuration will be enough.
