The FrD® Pad-filoir in Pa carbone with FrD friction ring in duralumin is a compact and versatile friction block system designed for use in a variety of applications.
Versatility:
Deflecting sheets and halyards on sailboats.
For deck-mounted furling lines or as a replacement for stanchion blocks.
Description
Pad-FrD® clew, glue-on textile chainplate / bridle with Duralumin friction ring.
- Low profile, so as not to interfere with other manoeuvres
- Quick and easy to install anywhere on deck, mast or boom, without drilling, using Nodus-Loc® bi-component glue.
- Its oval shape allows you to glue your Pad-FrD wire in the best possible way, depending on the angle and direction of the load.
Use
- Low-friction glue spinner to divert your ropes.
- For applications requiring the passage of ropes between two fixed points with minimal horizontal or vertical deflection.
- Automatic spinner alignment
- Guides extra ropes to cockpit cleats and jammers when no organizer sheave is available.

- Padeye Pad-Sx bonding :
- Pa11 carbon: Carbon-reinforced Polyamide 11, a lightweight, strong and durable material.
- Low-friction ring :
- Duralumin: Corrosion-resistant, hard-anodized aluminum alloy.
